Elevatr - The Business Idea App for Entrepreneurs App Reviews

Lost everything after the last update. Thought this one would be true in fixing some ideas not showing. Nope still garbage and should be on any App Store lists for business products.

Came back to app today and it was duplicating my first entry and not allowing me to create new ones. I logged out and then back in, and all of my data was gone. Would love a refund or for you to push an update that makes the app usable. Good idea. Poor execution so far.

I have been complaining to your team for months about, my lack of trust in your company, a product that has dwindled down into a useless app because of its spastic functionality, over (14) fourteen missing ideas (since that app was moved to the cloud), and what now appears to be an abandonment of a product with no support or expertise behind resolving consumers data corruption issues in your migrations into cloud based storage. As much as I love the layout of the app and what once was its ease of use I am now compelled to remove it and never use it again. I have taken a screenshot of what your app looks like to me using iOS 9. I hope to someday recover a general outline of my ideas from other devices that have not been changed to the new iOS but I will make sure not to mistrust such a company and product with something as precious as a fledgling thought.

Everyones user data is an accessible after the last update, and adding new ideas still seems to result in them being lost. Keep checking back for when they fix it, Because it is the greatest. I use this app often to flesh out thoughts and kick things around with other people. Because I use it so much, I have several pieces of criticism/request: - needs the ability to copy, paste, and edit text with the cursor and selection modes. (The normal things that you can do with texting every up, but seem to not be turned on here) Sharing them with associates is very easy, as they do not need to have the app installed. They get a private link to a webpage. - Yet, I would like others to be able to edit and outline, if they are shared access I find the app provides a very simple way to sketch out ideas that come to me. The worst thing that could happen is if this app became too complicated – it is great because it is simple

Im guessing the app developer has walked away from this one. Read the comments, everyone is losing their ideas after saving them in this app. Suggestion to all considering using this app: Avoid it like you would the plague!

Yup, like everyone else, all my ideas were deleted after update. Were better off with pen and paper!

It used to be amazing. Stored over 50 ideas in this awesome app. And then now all those ideas are gone. The hundreds of hours spent on Elevatr, wasted. And I am pretty sad. Bummed by Elevatrs unreliability. Can no longer recommend to friends unfortunately.

Nice program turned to nightmare. Lost all data, zero information about if they ever return... Never trust this developer

*** App is currently useless now. All my ideas and notes are gone and I dare not enter anything new into this App. Your better off creating your own template outside of the app to record your ideas.... ** I had to lower my rating because the App while elegant and beautiful is unstable. Ive had my ideas in this App for over a year. Suddenly after an update EVERYTHING besides the titles disappears...no iCloud back up no back up at all. Not a good situation. Im back to just using Pages...(which backs up to the cloud) Cant risk everything disappearing again. This is just what any/every budding entrepreneur should have in their App tool kit! With this App business ideas can effortlessly become a reality. The hardest part has always been writing the idea out in a constructive and well organized manor. NO MORE! Why are you still reading this??? Download the App and get your ideas in writing!

I thought this was a really cool app. It definitely had potential. I had over 15 thoughtful ideas that are gone. I had reservations about trusting an app to catalogue my ideas. Im going to back to my trusty journal and email. Im disappointed Elevatr!

You would think the app would be more engaging, however, it is literally a nested bullet system with sub-topics under the root level topics. Whats the point if we can do this with notes, word, email and so on? Providing thoughtful prompts on how to approach tackling the topics and sub-topics would have been helpful. Also, cloud sync is not user friendly when trying to share. Whatever happened to text output rather than sending just a link? I dont always want to share a link with someone and would rather export the actual content. Seems like a big miss to me.

I reliably used this app for several months to track ideas and build them out. Then poof after an update everything was gone. Nada! Zilch! Luckily I was able to access an iPhone backup and I somehow pulled out a barely legible copy of the apps stored data. As you can see in other reviews many users werent so lucky and they just lost their work forever. Sadly I dont recommend this app to anyone.
